Brantford has an opportunity for everyone to join a historic club with a course that has long resided in SCOREGolf’s Top 100 in Canada.

Do you have children who are interested in golf? Brantford has consistently developed some of the best young golfers in Canada, including PGA Tour star David Hearn, LPGA Tour player Alena Sharp, and many others.

Golf Membership

Senior golfers are men and women 40 years of age and older, who have unrestricted privileges subject to programs and events, includes use of food and beverage facilities, locker, shoe cleaning, club storage and cleaning and association dues. Curling privileges are available, please see fee schedule for cost.

Spouses and children (25 and younger) have unrestricted privileges subject to programs and events, includes use food and beverage facility, locker, shoe cleaning, club storage and cleaning. Also, in a family membership, there is no charge whatsoever for junior golfers until the year they turn 26. Please see fee billing schedule for cost.

Intermediate Golfers are men and women aged 26 – 39 years of age, who have unrestricted privileges subject to programs and events, includes use of food and beverage facilities, locker, shoe cleaning, club storage and cleaning and association dues. Curling privileges are available, please see fee billing schedule for cost. 

This category is open to senior golfers who have reached a minimum of 65 years of age and a minimum of 30 years of continuous shareholder membership.  Master Full golfers have unrestricted golf privileges subject to programs and events, includes use of food and beverage facilities, locker, shoe cleaning, club storage and cleaning and association dues. Curling privileges are available, see fee schedule for cost.  Master Restricted golfers, subject to programs and events, with tee off times not allowed Friday between 11:30 am. and 2 pm., Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays until 11 am., includes use of food and beverage facilities, locker, shoe cleaning, club storage and cleaning and association dues. Curling privileges are available, see fee billing schedule for cost.

Limited golfers are senior or intermediate men and women who have restricted privileges. Limited Golf members are limited to a maximum 45 credits of golf per season.  An 18-hole round is worth 3 credits, and a 9-hole round is worth 2 credits.  Onus falls on the member to inform the Golf Shop staff how many holes you are playing when booking a tee time or before tee off.  Additional rounds can be purchased at the regular guest rate.  Limited Golf members cannot participate in reciprocal arrangements with other clubs or exchange events.  Privileges include use of food and beverage facilities, shoe cleaning, club cleaning and association dues. This category does not include a locker or club storage.  Curling privileges are available, see fee schedule for cost.  All Senior & Intermediate Golfing members must purchase 10 voting shares at $100 per share. Full dues and applicable fees (including the monthly clubhouse assessment, as well as applicable house minimum spending requirement) apply to both spouses when joining as a Family.

Privileges of Social Membership includes full use of food and beverage facilities, and five occasions of golf per season at the prevailing guest green fee, excluding programs and events and at times designated by the Pro Shop. Payment of the applicable fee is required with the submitted application.

This category is open to senior social members who have reached a minimum of 70 years of age and 15 years of continuous shareholder membership. The member must apply for this category. The privileges are the same as a Social Individual membership. Master Social members are not subject to a food and beverage spending requirement.

A Corporate membership has at least three members from the same company, and no greater than five, as an owner, partner, director, officer, or employee.

Proof of employment with the company will accompany each individual’s application. The corporation must include a designated primary member of the organization who would have the only “voting share”. The primary member must have signing authority for the Corporation. The Corporation will purchase 1 class A share for $100.

Upon resignation, the share must be retracted. Memberships are transferrable to another employee of the company once a year with a transfer administration fee of $100.
Each designate is responsible for building levy and food and beverage spending requirements.

Privileges of Corporate social members include full use of food and beverage facilities, and three occasions of golf per season at the prevailing guest fee, at times designated by the Pro Shop.

Junior Golf Membership

For the purpose of determining annual dues, age categories are based on age attained during the period between November 1, 2011 and October 31, 2012 Novices are 7 to 11 years, Juniors are 12 to 18 years, Extended Juniors are 19 to 25, Intermediates are 26 to 39 years of age. If an Extended Junior wishes Intermediate access to the golf course, they may upgrade their membership upon reaching the age of 19 by paying the applicable entrance fee.

This category is available to men and ladies aged 19 - 25 years. This category is open to graduating juniors only. Privileges are subject to programs and events. Extended Juniors may not play before 11 a.m. on weekends and holidays and cannot book a tee time more than 3 days in advance. Membership in this category includes the use of food and beverage facilities and a locker in the junior locker room. Extended Junior members may elect to enter the Intermediate category pending payment of appropriate dues. Incentives are offered to ‘graduating’ Extended Juniors, in the form of savings on the Entrance Fee, based on the amount of time they participate in the Junior program.

Men and ladies aged 12 - 18 years. Privileges are restricted subject to programs and events. Juniors may not play between 12 noon and 5 p.m. on Wednesday, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Friday, before 12:30 pm on Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays. The junior membership includes the use of food and beverage facilities and a locker in the junior locker room.

A limited number (5 men, 5 ladies) of Unattached Junior memberships are also available to those meeting the applicable criteria whose parents are not members of the Brantford Golf & Country Club. Unattached Juniors must be proposed and seconded for membership by existing members.

An extended novice golfer is the child of an existing member only, aged 12—15 years. He/she must be accompanied by a Senior or Intermediate golfer. Only one extended novice golfer per adult member is permitted. Extended novice golfers may play with seniors or intermediates Monday to Friday after 6 p.m. and Saturday, Sunday and Holidays after 12:30 p.m.

A novice golfer is the child of an existing member only, aged 7 - 11 years. He/she must be accompanied by a Senior or Intermediate golfer. Only one novice golfer per adult member is permitted. Novice golfers may play with seniors or intermediates Monday to Friday after 6 p.m. and Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays after 12:30 p.m.

  1. Food & Beverage Annual Spending Minimums are required for every category at the BGCC except for Seasonal Curlers.

  2.  Annual Dues are required for every category at the BGCC.

  3. Purchased Shares and Building Levy's are required for every category at the BGCC except for Seasonal Curlers.
